Janus is building the financial operating system for global freight: AI-powered freight document intelligence (live in production with paying customers), stablecoin-powered same-day settlement, and shipment-data-underwritten working capital. Freight forwarders pre-finance shipments, wait 30-90 days to get paid, and settle cross-border through correspondent banking that costs 2-4% and takes days to clear. We fix that in layers - documents, then payments, then credit. We're looking for a hands-on blockchain engineer to own our on-chain and fintech integrations as we move from documents into payments and credit. This is not a protocol-research role - it's a shipping role. You'll stitch together stablecoin rails, on/off-ramps, yield products, lending infrastructure, and compliance tooling into a coherent banking product for freight forwarders, across multiple chains.

What You'll Build

Payments Orchestration

•	Design and build our routing proxy across multiple money orchestrators and stablecoin on/off-ramp providers, so every customer payment automatically gets the best rate, corridor, and settlement speed
•	Own the architecture decisions for how cross-border settlement flows through the platform

Yield Generation & Curated Vaults • Integrate tokenized yield sources (tokenized treasuries and other real-world assets) so idle customer balances earn yield natively in the product • Build curated vaults we manage on behalf of customers - segregated, compliance-friendly vault structures holding real-world assets Lending & Receivables • Help tokenize shipment documents and receivables and share them with lenders and asset platforms on our platform • Integrate with cash-flow-secured credit infrastructure and RWA asset issuers - closer to curated vaults holding real-world freight assets than a lending protocol Compliance & Onboarding • Wire KYB/KYC (e.g., Sumsub) into wallet and payment flows

What We're Looking For

•	Deep backend engineering experience strongly preferred (APIs, webhooks, idempotency, reconciliation, ledger thinking); some frontend experience is helpful
•	Proven track record shipping production fintech or blockchain products - neobank, payments, or embedded-finance experience strongly preferred
•	Deep comfort integrating third-party financial infrastructure (orchestrators, ramps, custody providers, KYC vendors) rather than building everything from scratch
•	Comfortable writing and deploying smart contracts on at least one EVM chain (Base, Monad); Rust preferred, given two Rust-based stacks in our lineup (Solana programs, Soroban on Stellar)
•	Hands-on experience with at least two of our target chains; ability to come up to speed fast on the rest
•	Demonstrated capacity to build and ship independently - we will take references

Nice to Have

•	Card issuing / card program integration experience
•	Mobile app development experience (banking / consumer fintech)
•	Experience running validators or node infrastructure (we are considering spinning up our own validators on several networks)
•	Experience with RWA tokenization, vault architectures, or DeFi credit primitives
•	Prior startup or zero-to-one environment
